We are now looking for a mid-level Business Analyst to bring their expertise to our project. As a business analyst, you will bridge the communication gap between business, design, and software engineers; You will also facilitate design sessions with the stakeholders, UX, and development team to outline the solution.

About the project:

We are working as a fully distributed team dispersed in the US and Europe (Germany, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine, and Portugal) and use two-week-long Scrum sprints. Our engineers are engaged in full-stack development and product design from scratch since the end of August 2022. We created several applications for web, Android, and iOS for different roles, as well as a rich REST API for multi-platform communication. We use Google Map integrations, algorithms for ETA and geo-fencing, and weather-related libraries to a great extent.

Team: 1 Product Manager, 1 Team Lead (Full-stack + Architect), 1 BE, 2 FE, 2 QA, 1 PM (from Proxet). Average experience in the team is more than ten years in the field — we are a well-established, high-performance team.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience:

3+ years of experience in business analytics;
Exposure to versatile business domains;
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile practices;
Proven experience in user stories creation, acceptance criteria definition, design documentation, process flows, and wireframes creation;
Solid experience with business communication, cooperation with stakeholders, and working with an Agile team;
Upper-intermediate English or above.

NICE TO HAVE:

Experience with product analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Heap, Amplitude, etc.;
Knowledge of Human-Centered Design and Jobs to Be Done frameworks;
Exposure to mobile development projects;
Familiarity with the Figma app and UX principles to assess app usability.

Responsibilities:

Identify business needs as well as functional and non-functional requirements;
Document, analyze, and decompose requirements and convert them into clear, unambiguous, and actionable ones;
Bridge the communication gap between business, design, and software engineers;
Facilitate design sessions with stakeholders, UX, and dev team to outline the solution;
Work closely with designers to ensure frictionless requirements management;
Communicate with stakeholders and the team to properly manage expectations;
Maintain product backlog and requirements knowledge base;
Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and user training;
Advocate for the business needs as a whole and consider the effect of changes at each level;
Deep involvement in release processes at all stages;
