About the role:

We are looking for a Data & Data Ops Engineer to help us build and maintain data pipelines for a credit check and loan platform based in the US.

As a Data & Data Ops Engineer, you will help build and improve new and existing data pipelines, upgrade ETL processes and integrations, and ensure the reliability and operational stability of the platform.

Our client is a financial company providing loans to customers across 10+ states in the US.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience:

4+ years of working experience as a Data Engineer;
Main tech stack: Python, Prefect flow (prefect.io, similar to Airflow), Snowflake, dbt, and AWS S3;
Experience working with third-party system integrations such as Metabase, NLS, Pipedrive, Experian, Jotform, and others;
Soft skills: fast thinker, attention to detail, ability to work independently, communicate and work with the client, and responsiveness;
Intermediate (B2) English or above; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.

Nice to have:

Familiarity with financial/loan business terms and BI tools such as Metabase.

Responsibilities:

Identify business needs and elicit functional and non-functional requirements;
Document, analyze, and break down requirements into clear, unambiguous, and actionable items;
Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders, UX, and dev team to outline the solution;
Work closely with designers to ensure frictionless requirements management;
Communicate with stakeholders and the team to properly manage expectations;
Own the solution product backlog;
Maintain requirements knowledge base;
Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and user training;
Advocate for the business needs as a whole and consider the effect of changes at each level;
Participate in presales and product discovery.
