About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our AI-based in-house recruitment project. If you have more than five years of work experience with Java Core 8+ and can take your own initiative in the development process and working atmosphere improvements, we should talk.

About the project:

Employa (employa.com) is an AI-based recruitment service solution that saves time and money when helping HR professionals hire the best job candidates. This is our in-house project utilizing innovative design and our expertise in ML and AI technologies.

Who are we looking for?

Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience with Java Core 8+ (we are using Java 11 for now);
3+ years of experience with Spring (Core, Web, Data, JPA, Boot);
Good knowledge and experience with Kafka;
2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB;
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS);
Unit testing: JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers;
Knowledge of Gradle, Caching (Hazelcast);
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes;
Understanding of REST API concepts;
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.

NICE TO HAVE:

Knowledge and ability to configure deployment and system monitoring processes (logging, tracing, etc.);
Good experience in architecture design and solving optimization issues;
Experience with Lombok, Mapstruct.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain large scale, high-performance real-time applications;
Identify, design, and implement improvements to the current architecture. This may include: internal process improvements, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, reducing cost, re-designing infrastructure for greater reliability, etc;
Take your own initiative in the development process and working atmosphere improvements; be proactive in suggesting new visions and approaches to the platform development; anticipate problems or issues solutions that may arise;
Deliver constant value back to the business in a highly agile team approaching near-continuous deployment;
